“I am excited about our campaign for Shelby County Mayor and the opportunity to present my plans for the future. This campaign will serve as a venue for ideas to inform voters about my candidacy and what I can do to benefit our community. This will be an opportunity to outline how government can work more efficiently at less cost.  For eight years as your Sheriff I have proven that I can get the job done.  Good management principles and a progressive vision can accomplish many goals in the years ahead.

During the course of the campaign I will use this space to explain my views on enhanced public safety, economic development, The MED, education funding and managing the county debt.  I also welcome your feedback with suggestions on any of these issues.  Much can be accomplished if we work together for a better future.”
